Emmaus Evening Bible Class
About the Class
For twelve weeks starting in September, a teacher from Emmaus Bible College (Dubuque, IA) is invited to teach from God's word each Monday night for two hours, starting at 7:00.
Our weekly class will be divided into two sections this fall. Mr. Ken Daughters is the President of Emmaus Bible College, and this will be his first time at our fall school. He will be teaching the books of I, II, III John from September 12 through October 17th. There will be no class on September 26th. Mr. Dave Glock will be teaching the book of Ecclesiastes the second six weeks, October 24th through November 28th.
About the Topic
The Letters of John
God's desire is to have continuous fellowship with us throughout this life. Often times our actions inhibit this fellowship. These letters, penned by the apostle John, give us very practical instruction that will help us experience a close, day-by-day walk with God. We will learn about God's love for us and the love we are to have for each other. You are sure to benefit from Mr. Daughter's class.
Ecclesiastes
It is quite possible that you have never studied the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes. Written near the end of his life, King Solomon relates lessons learned from his life experiences. The study of this book will provide excellent opportunities to discuss what a Biblical world view is. Mr. Glock is a very practical teacher who will challenge your thinking.
